SOTTOSOTTO

A companion built around your IP

Sotto is a white-label solution and can be applied as a stand alone experience, or embedded within your existing platforms.

We build a companion around a world you own, using material you already hold, and deploy it inside your platform under your brand. Your team stays in control of what it knows and what it says.

What follows is what that actually involves, in the order it happens.

A fan opens your app, or your site, and talks.

Out loud, or by typing if they prefer. The companion answers in the voice of the IP, straight away, and it answers the question they actually asked rather than the nearest one it recognises. Then it asks something back, and the conversation carries on.

There is no menu to work through and no episode list to scroll.

What a fan can ask for

01

A recap before the next episode.

02

A single scene pulled apart for twenty minutes.

03

What a character meant by something, why a rule of the sport works the way it does, or what happened in a film they saw four years ago and half remember.

Fans are already going to LLM's and Ai search to feed their fandom.

Sotto empowers IP owners to own and curate this experience.

A general Ai model can talk about your world. It will also get things wrong, invent detail that sounds plausible, and spoil an episode without knowing it has.

With Sotto, you can create the experience your fans deserve.

It knows each fan

Memory that persists across a season, and adapts to what one person cares about and how much they already know.

It stays inside canon

Everything it says traces strictly to material you provided. It updates as new episodes release. It respects where each fan has got to.

It answers in the moment

Real-time voice conversation, not a form and a wait.

The four pillars, in depth

01

Episodic drops

New material unlocks the moment an episode airs, a film opens, or a match finishes. It works the way a podcast release does, except that the fan sets the pace rather than the publisher.

Sotto knows where each fan has got to and stays behind that line. A fan three episodes behind gets a companion that behaves as though the later episodes do not exist yet. A fan who is fully caught up gets everything.

The fan can move the line themselves at any point, and Sotto remembers and adheres to it strictly.

02

Built on conversation

Post-show content is broadcast. One recap, one running order, one set of opinions, sent to everyone at once.

Sotto is interactive and engaging. Fans ask what they want to know, in the order they want to know it, and push back when they disagree. The exchange goes where their fandom does.

The companion can speak as a voice from inside the world, in character and in tone, or as a knowledgeable presence alongside it. That choice is yours, and it is one of the more creatively interesting decisions in a deployment.

03

It remembers

Sotto remembers a fan week after week, and across a season. What they care about. What they predicted and whether it came off. Which characters they defend. What they asked it not to spoil. Whether they want the short answer or the long one.

It uses that memory to pick threads back up rather than to start again. A returning fan is met by something that already knows the conversation thread and their areas of interest. This is what makes it a companion rather than a very good search box.

04

Always-on lore

Everything you choose to include, available the instant a fan wants it. Timelines, relationships, production history, the reasons behind a decision, the detail nobody noticed.

Not organised into articles or episodes, but reachable from whatever question a fan happens to have at the time.

Depth is the point. Sotto perfectly adapts to a fans level of knowledge or engagement. Optimised from Casual Fans to Stans.

Attention around a title is not a single spike on release day.

It builds, peaks, and then keeps going for far longer than most measurement captures.

Pre-airing

Fans reconnect with a world they have been away from. They recap, they go back over what happened, they prepare for what is coming.

For a returning season or a sequel, this is often where the most anticipated, most engaged attention sits.

During

They watch. Sotto stays quiet.

It is not a second screen and it does not compete with your product, by design.

Post

They discuss, they theorise, they contribute.

This is the longest of the three phases by a wide margin, and it is the one currently served almost entirely by influencers, podcasters, performative message boards, rarely by the IP holders themselves.

Sotto is present for the first and the third. Those are the two you have the least presence in today.

A deployment does not need new content made for it.

We utilise the material you already hold, which is commonly sitting idle in an archive.

We work with your team to turn that into a knowledge library the companion refers to when it answers. You decide what goes in and what stays out, and you can change that decision later.

Everything the companion says traces back to something you provided. That is what makes it official, and it is the reason it can be trusted in front of your audience.

Your material never trains a model.

We use your archive. Here is what happens to it.

It sits in a private library that the companion refers to when it answers a fan. It is never absorbed into the Ai model itself. That distinction decides what happens when you want it back: material absorbed into a model cannot meaningfully be removed, material in a library can. You can update it, audit it, or take it away, and once it is gone the companion no longer knows it.

You control the data and your IP. Always.

Your fans stay yours too. Individual fan identity and your first-party relationship with your audience remain with you. What comes back to you is aggregated and de-identified.

Cross platform

Mobile

Inside your existing app, or as a standalone one. An audio experience that works for anyone with a phone.

Web

Inside the fan platform you already operate.

Smart speakers

In the room, on demand, for the conversation that starts while a fan is doing something else.

Wearables and headsets

Newer surfaces where a companion has context about where a fan is and what they are doing, and where a richer visual experience becomes possible.

Sotto is built to be cross-device from the start, so a new surface is somewhere else it appears rather than a separate product to commission.

Questions

The questions we get asked

Does Sotto train on our IP?

No. Your material is never used to train the model. The licence is a bounded access grant, not an AI training licence. Sotto retrieves from your world only at the point of answering, that access is revocable, and every use is auditable. Sotto is built with rights holders in mind: training is none, and control stays with you.

Is Sotto white-label?

Yes. Sotto deploys inside your own platforms under your own brand. It is designed to integrate with your marketing campaigns, your websites, your apps and your fan-engagement ecosystems, so fans meet your world, not a third-party product.

What is the business model?

A one-off set-up fee, then a monthly licence fee for as long as the experience is live. The licence is tiered on expected usage, and can be upgraded or downgraded at any time.

How is Sotto different from a general LLM?

A general model guesses from whatever it has scraped. Sotto is bounded by your canon, so it answers from your world instead. It stays inside the agreed canon, it remembers each fan across a season, and it ships as an official experience rather than an unlicensed layer sitting on top of your fandom. It also gives you real-time data on your audience. And it is spoiler safe: by understanding where a fan is in their journey through the story, it never reveals anything that would ruin what is coming.

Which platforms does Sotto run on?

Sotto is cross platform. It runs on mobile, on the web, on smart speakers, and on wearables and headsets, wherever your fans already are.

What does Sotto measure?

Sotto measures intent, not just viewing. Rather than who started or finished an episode, you learn what fans ask, what confused them, what holds their attention, where your demand is, and what to try next. Insight is aggregated and de-identified, and the first-party relationship stays with you.

Who is Sotto for?

Sotto is for the owners of large entertainment IP across film, television, music and sport. The buyer is usually the rights holder's business affairs, legal and digital leadership, the people who decide whether a company can be trusted with a valuable asset.

What can a fan do with Sotto?

Sotto reflects a fan's own fandom back to them. Some want to interrogate the lore in microscopic detail. Others want wild theory-crafting, predictions, recaps or explainers. Whatever kind of fan they are, Sotto is a sounding board and an interactive experience shaped to them.
